Your use of this website (www.red-company.nl, including all pages and online services on it, together the “Website”) is governed by the terms and policies below. By using the Website you confirm that you have read them and agree to them. Dutch law applies.
Terms of use
The Website gives general information about RED Company, our projects and our work. We keep it accurate and up to date as far as we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee that everything on it is complete, correct or current at any given moment.
No offer, no advice
Project information, figures, dates, renderings and films are indicative. They describe our ambitions and the state of a project at the time of publication and may change. Nothing on the Website is an offer, a promise about a project, or investment, financial, legal or technical advice. If you are considering a decision in relation to one of our projects, contact us and rely on the documents we provide for that purpose, not on the Website.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RED Company is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the Website or from reliance on its contents, including indirect or consequential damage and loss of business. The Website may be unavailable or changed at any time without notice.
Third-party links and embeds
The Website contains links to, and embeds from, websites and services of others, such as partners, Google Maps and Vimeo. We are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply; please read them.
Use of the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain access to parts of the Website or its infrastructure that are not meant for the public, scrape or systematically copy its contents, or use it to distribute harmful content.
Intellectual property
All content on the Website — texts, photographs, renderings, films, logos and the design of the site — belongs to RED Company or to the photographers, architects and other partners who licensed it to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or modify it without our prior written consent, other than viewing and sharing links for personal, non-commercial use. Press may use material from our press releases with credit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page. The date at the bottom shows when it was last changed.
Privacy policy
RED Company B.V. is the controller for the personal data described below. We handle personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Implementation Act. This policy applies to visitors of the Website and to the people we deal with in our business: clients, partners, suppliers, investors, press, job applicants and other contacts.
What we collect and why
Contact form: your name, e-mail address, company (optional) and message. We use it to reply to you and to follow up on your request. The form is delivered to contact@red-company.nl as an e-mail by Resend, our e-mail delivery service.
Newsletter: your e-mail address, and your name if you give it. We use it to send you our mailings. Sign-ups are stored with Mailchimp, the service that sends our newsletter; every mailing has an unsubscribe link.
Applications: what you send us when you apply for a position, by e-mail or through the contact form. We use it only for that recruitment process.
Business contacts: contact details and correspondence of the people we work with, used to maintain the relationship, perform our agreements and meet our legal obligations.
Legal basis
We process your data because you asked us to (your request through the contact form), because you agreed to it (the newsletter — you can withdraw at any time), because it is needed to perform or prepare an agreement with you or your organisation, because the law requires it, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business, in which case we weigh that interest against yours.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with service providers who process it for us and under our instructions: Vercel (hosting of the Website), Resend (delivery of contact-form e-mails), Mailchimp (newsletter), Google Workspace (our e-mail and documents) and, after you accept cookies, Google Maps and Vimeo for the embedded map and films. Where needed for our work we also share data with our professional advisers, partners in a project, and with authorities when the law requires it.
Where it is stored
We store data in the European Union where we can. Some of our providers are based in the United States; where data is transferred there, it is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Contact-form messages and correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request and the relationship that may follow, and as long as the law requires us to keep records. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Application data: up to four weeks after the procedure ends, or up to a year with your consent. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, reputable providers and regular review of our practices. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take it seriously.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Mail contact@red-company.nl; we may ask you to confirm your identity first and we reply within a month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Server records
Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard technical information about requests to the Website, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. These records are generated by the server, not stored on your device, and are used to operate and secure the Website.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. They can be temporary (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent, and they can be set by the website you visit or by a third party whose content is embedded in it.
Cookies on this Website
We place no cookies of our own, and we use no advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking. The typefaces are served from our own hosting, not from a third-party font service. We measure how the Website is used with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and gives you no persistent identifier. It reports aggregated figures only — pages viewed, the site that referred you and your country — and cannot identify you or follow you to other websites. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this does not require your consent.
Embedded services
The map on the contact page comes from Google Maps and some films are hosted on Vimeo. These services set their own cookies and may collect data under their own privacy policies. They load only after you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice; with “Essential only” you see a still image instead.
Your choice
Your choice in the cookie notice is stored in your browser (local storage), not on our servers, and you can change it at any time by clearing the site data for www.red-company.nl in your browser. The notice then appears again.
Functional storage
The Website remembers in your browser whether you have already seen the opening animation during this session, so it does not play again on every page. That is deleted when you close the tab.
Managing cookies
Because we set no cookies for visitors, there is nothing to disable. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies for any website through their settings; doing so does not affect your use of this Website, except that the map and films will not load.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy when the Website, the law or our practices change. If we ever start using cookies or any technology that stores information on your device, we will update this page and ask for your consent before doing so.
