RED Company has reached agreement with PATRIZIA SE, housing association Staedion and Bellevue CS The Hague B.V. on the development of the Bellevue site in The Hague. With this step RED Company reaches an important milestone in the further elaboration of the plan, and work continues towards the submission of the environmental permit application later this year.
The Bellevue site lies in a prominent spot on the corner of Bezuidenhoutseweg and Rijnstraat, within walking distance of Den Haag Centraal, Koningin Julianaplein, the city centre and the Haagse Bos. A key position within the development of the station area and the Central Innovation District (CID).
The plan comprises a high-quality mixed programme of homes, offices and amenities. Careful integration into both the urban surroundings and the adjacent greenery is central. With Bellevue, RED Company contributes to reducing the housing shortage and to strengthening the city entrance of The Hague.
For the design, RED Company is working with the architecture firms MVSA Architects and Powerhouse Company. Construction will be carried out by RED Construction. Architectural quality, liveability and sustainability are central to the plan, with special attention to the connection with the public space.
